Center to Host Johnson & Johnson Innovation Event on Sept. 19

Johnson & Johnson Innovation (JJI) is supporting innovation in major life science clusters through the life science incubator JLABS and other programs, with the ultimate aim of enabling commercialization of new healthcare solutions for patients. On Monday September 19 at the BioInnovation Center, hear from JJI leaders as they provide an overview of the team’s goals and mission, highlighting how J&J Innovation interacts with the entrepreneurial community in numerous sectors through JLABS and other initiatives. APMT Selected for National Smart Manufacturing Innovation Program

Advanced Polymer Monitoring Technologies (APMT) has been selected to be a participant in the new national Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute. On June 20, the Obama Administration announced that the Smart Manufacturing Leadership Coalition, in partnership with the Department of Energy’s Advanced Manufacturing Office, will be leading this new Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute. APMT is one of nearly 200 consortium participants across thirty states selected from industry, academia, and the non-profit sector. The initiative focuses on dramatically reducing energy expenses in American advanced manufacturing by accelerating development and adoption of advanced sensors, data analytics, robotics, and other innovations.
