NOBIC is proud to welcome Exactics to our growing community of innovators working to transform healthcare through biotechnology.

Founded with the mission of making diagnostics faster, more accessible, and more affordable, Exactics is developing rapid at-home diagnostic technology that delivers results in as little as 30 minutes. Similar in convenience to an at-home COVID-19 test, the company’s platform is designed to help people detect diseases quickly, empowering individuals to make informed healthcare decisions sooner.

What began as an idea inspired by the challenge of diagnosing Lyme disease has grown into an emerging biotechnology company with laboratories in both Boston and New Orleans. Since its founding, Exactics has raised $2.7 million to advance its mission of bringing innovative diagnostic solutions closer to patients.

New Orleans plays an important role in the company’s continued growth. By establishing operations at NOBIC, Exactics gains access to Louisiana’s strong research community and opportunities to collaborate on diseases that are especially relevant to the Gulf South. These partnerships will help strengthen product validation while contributing to the region’s expanding life sciences ecosystem.

One of the most memorable takeaways from our conversation with Co-Founder Madeline Murray was her advice for aspiring entrepreneurs:

“The best time to start a company is while you’re still in college. You have more resources than you realize, and people are often more willing to help than once you’ve graduated.”

Looking ahead, Exactics is focused on developing its next-generation diagnostic platform a multi-disease device capable of detecting multiple conditions using a single testing platform. Over the next year, the team will continue advancing this technology while preparing for its next round of fundraising in 2027.

At NOBIC, we are committed to supporting companies that are transforming scientific discoveries into real-world solutions. We are excited to have Exactics as part of our innovation community and look forward to supporting the team as they continue to grow, develop groundbreaking technologies, and shape the future of accessible healthcare.

Welcome to NOBIC, Exactics! We’re excited to be part of your journey!
