OMS’ Cardiology EHR Earns Stage 2 Meaningful Use Certification

Objective Medical Systems has developed a cardiology-specific Electronic Health Record (EHR) system that has earned Meaningful Use Stage 2 Certification from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT. This certification represents a significant step toward enabling cardiovascular practices across the nation to select an EHR built specifically for their needs. ‘Meaningful Use’ certification is part of the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs that provide financial incentives for the utilization of certified EHR technology to improve patient care.

Eardrum repair startup wins 2nd at International Business Model Competition

After earning top prizes at the Rice University Business Plan Competition and the Tulane University Business Model Competition, Tympanogen went on to place in the top two at an international competition in Utah. The company earned 2nd place and $12,000 in prizes at the International Business Model Competition, an event drawing over 40 finalist startups from countries around the world.
