8 semi-finalists have been announced for the Tulane Business Model Competition. The contest was redesigned to better reward the a startup’s ability to rapidly adapt to customers’ needs. It offers $35,000 in prizes for the top two finishers.
Semi-finalists include InVision Biomedical, which is developing novel medical devices for surgeries, and Tympanogen, a firm commercializing a gel patch for non-surgical repair of chronic tympanic membrane perforations.
