The BARDA Accelerator Network is hosting a 4-week series on the newly launched areas of interest at BARDA DRIVe! Please join us on October 6th from 12-1pm EDT for a Reverse Pitch AOI #10: Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)-based Agnostic Diagnostic for Respiratory RNA Virus Pathogens. In this live interactive session, experts will discuss the overall scope, timeline and application process for those interested in working with BARDA, and answer any questions about the AOI and the EZ-BAA.
AOI #10: Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)-based Agnostic Diagnostic for Respiratory RNA Virus Pathogens: will support further verification and validation of existing NGS-based assays for detection of respiratory RNA viruses, and support them through FDA approval. The goal of this approach is to help to prepare the U.S. and potentially the world for future pandemics involving respiratory RNA pathogens.
Below is the schedule of the entire 4-week series along with topics being discussed.
9/22: AOI 8: Bringing Laboratory Testing to Home
9/29: AOI 11a/AOI11b : Home-based, OTC diagnostics for the detection of SARS-CoV-2; Enabling Technologies to Support home-based Diagnostics for SARS-CoV-2 Acute Infection
10/6: AOI 10: Next Generation Sequencing based agnostics Dx for Respiratory RNA virus pathogens
10/13: AOI9: Digital Health Tools for Pandemic Preparedness
