October 28th at 9AM Central time will be the cutoff date for selecting meetings in advance.
In preparation for the federal agency interface, LTTO and SBIRC are hosting a short webinar on October 28 at 10am called “Pitch Prep” to prepare Louisiana businesses for their federal agency sessions, including the requisite “quad chart” which is a graphical synopsis of proposed SBIR/STTR grants.
The 2020 Regional SBIR Weeks are virtual, collaborative outreach efforts connecting entrepreneurs working on advanced technologies to the country’s largest source of early-stage funding – the SBIR/STTR programs. Also known as America’s Seed Fund, the SBIR/STTR programs provide over $3.7 billion in funding to small businesses each year in a wide variety of technology areas.
Between 2015 and 2019, the SBIR Road Tour visited every state and Puerto Rico – mostly traveling by bus between stops. Amid travel and event challenges, the decision was made to go virtual for the 2020 events.
Each virtual event, hosted by a local organization, will provide attendees with an opportunity to hear directly from the participating federal agency program managers that administer over 5,500 new awards annually and to meet virtually one-on-one with program decision-makers.
So, if you’re an Innovator, Entrepreneur, Researcher, or Small Technology Firm, don’t miss this opportunity.
